Taxpayers who e-filed can get refund information 72 hours
after the electronic return data is acknowledged as accepted
by the IRS. To check the status of a refund go to www.irs.gov
and click on Where’s My Refund?

Very useful for someone who is thinking of one of those instant tax refund services. Their rates are very susurios and are basically called fees to thwart usury laws.

Some pay $50 out of a $1,000 refund. If it comes within a month that is 60% per annum. Those payday loans are about the same.

Hey you, most people pay TOO MUCH and that is the reason for the refund. I don't see them getting any interest out of it do you ?

I'm waiting on mine!!  IRS already sent an email saying they received it and I can expect it to be directly deposited by 2/19.

LaT...I feel ya and remember the days when I had to pay instead of wait for a refund.  But, believe me, you'd rather have your paycheck than mine just to get that refund [;)]

I don't have to pay since I am on SSI.  Got a 1099 instead and frankly I did not work any.

They won't be processing any of those home buyer credits til the end of March. I can't wait.
