American International Group plans Wednesday to pay another round of employee bonuses, worth about $100 million, said several people familiar with the matter, a year after similar payments at the bailed-out insurance giant infuriated many Americans and inflamed Washington.

Status: offline 		Damnit...this company has got some massive balls.

But then AIG is nothing more than a robber baron.  The company tried it damnest to rob my former sub of some money when he was involved in a big rig accident (he was in a regular truck and the big rig ran into his truck).  He might have to be on disability now because of the back pain (and AIG refuses to give any more funds).

Status: offline 		My thoughts... when your kindly Uncle Alastair gives away money from your trust fund to some alcoholic who's down on his luck, and the alcoholic doesn't reform his ways, why blame the alcoholic?

Our legislators gave away our future taxes to support crooks.  With their constituents screaming at them to not do it.  Voting them out of office is the only message that will sink in, and it's getting done.

We need to pay the bankers extremely well, so as to attract and maintain the best people.
We need to pay the assembly line workers less, so they don't become lazy and inept.

We need to pay the bankers bonuses, because of the sanctity of contracts.
We need to break the union member's contracts, so as to make the companies more competitive.

We need to bail out banks that are underwater, so they don't harm the economy.
We need to let homeowners who are underwater get evicted, so as to enforce moral hazard.

We need to outlaw sodomy.
We need to get government out of our lives.

We need to outlaw abortion.
We need to make sure the government doesn't come between you and your doctor.

Status: offline 		PA, contracts can be broken when the administration wants them to be broken. It's called Chicago style politics. Ask any UAW member that had to make concessions when the auto companies got their bailout money.
