Brain -> Things Get Heated Between Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart. Two parts (2/4/2010 1:40:15 PM)

I’m glad there are people like Jon Stewart around to point out Fox News bias and lies.

Things Get Heated Between Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart - Two parts

The first night of Jon Stewart's two-part appearance on "The O'Reilly Factor" got heated when Bill O'Reilly, making a point about what he thought was unfair treatment of Fox News Channel on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," jabbed his finger dangerously close to Stewart's face; Stewart returned verbal fire by jokingly comparing O'Reilly to Muhammad Ali. The tense moment came at the midpoint of an interview that first focused on President Barack Obama's performance in his first year as President and then quickly turned into a spirited argument about the fairness of Fox News Channel.

Pepsi, Coke, Coke, Pepsi.

Pretty standard.

Each will clean the rust off of a car. People chug it then wonder why the gall bladder has to come out.

Hmmm...both their ratings must be going down, cause they have resorted to bitching at each other on the others show.  Yawn...

It's sad that a large portion of the country get their NEWS from both of these sources alone. well not really a "large portion" in fact generally pretty small compared to the networks.

On a side note, Brain what else do you do all day other than start new threads?

I watched both clips, and its a stretch to say things got heated...they talked quite calmly if you ask me

heated? It was a joke fest, and they agreed with each other on just about everything except ideology.

Better analogy: Coke (O'Reilly), Caffeine-free Coke (Jon Stewart)

By heated he means the rapid foot job under the desk was causing an awful lot of friction.

Jon Stewart is a goon. I can't think of another word that really fits him. Goober maybe.

It's also sad that there really isn't a single main stream media news outlet that is consistently reliable and trustworthy. Nary a one in my humble opinion.

Edited due to my lack of typing skills

Your assessment is wrong. He's quite a lot like my dad, except a lot funnier: a glittering prize that only the truly stunted of sight would fail to be blinded by [8D] .

They have both been on each others shows before, and while O'Reilly pretends to be a serious news commentator Stewart makes no secret of the fact his show is comedy.

I watch both Stewart and O'Reilly fairly regularly. There was nothing heated about the interview. All I saw was two guys of differing opinions who managed to have a lively debate while still respecting each other.

I'm sorry your dad's a goober.

Damn that G word.

Nah, heated would have been a discussion on stalking.

[8D] Stewart told O'Reilly that he had become the only voice of sanity at Fox... although "that's a bit like being the thinnest kid at fat camp" [8D] .
