Why cant these people learn to OBEY?  The UN is in charge of this- not India.

only because it isnt particularly new, and because there are a few other countries that are somewhat more evil in line for the crown.

The link cited in the OP includes this mention...

The new National Institute of Himalayan Glaciology will be based in Dehradun, in Uttarakhand, and will monitor glacial changes and compare results with those from glciers in Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan.

Maybe we can save them some time...

Menon and her collaborators found that airborne black carbon aerosols, or soot, from India is a major contributor to the decline in snow and ice cover on the glaciers... "Our simulations showed greenhouse gases alone are not nearly enough to be responsible for the snow melt," says Menon, a physicist and staff scientist in Berkeley Lab's Environmental Energy Technologies Division. "Most of the change in snow and ice cover -- about 90 percent -- is from aerosols. Black carbon alone contributes at least 30 percent of this sum."

well for those of us who have been paying attention, copenhagen was fine- up until it was learned the IMF was going to manage the global carbon tax.
once that was learned the jig was up.

the point is this act defies centralized control.
it does not celebrate or endorse centralized control.

which makes it a threat.

Remember what I told you the last time you quoted a link from the Telegraph? It isn't what you'd call a reputable source. That'd be like, say, somebody from the UK providing a quote from the National Enquirer* that the chimp had really been an undead Richard Nixon in a clever disguise and expecting to be taken seriously by the Americans on the board.
The Telegraph has long been notorious for hysterical scaremongering aimed at middle class anglicans. In the light of that, it does seem a bit odd that it's the only British paper that any of the Americans on here ever post a link to. I wouldn't expect you to read the Times or the Indie, but at least there's tits on page three of the Sun...

*(Yes, I know that the Enquirer ceased publishing a couple of years back.)

The Express is nearly as bad as the Torygraph. Will you be quoting from the Mail next?

I'd change you signature, mate. It's starting to look like you need all the medication you can afford.

Whew!
Good thing, that its only coal soot that is melting the glaciers.

For a moment I thought we were altering the ecosystem of the earth through deforestation and polluting the aquifers and overfishing the oceans and wiping out natural habitat.

Yeah, I am being snarky; but global warming has become the proxy war over environmentally sustainable practices, a boogyman that is fought by both sides, thinking that this alone willl win the day.
Regardless of what someone's opinion of global warming is, the one thing that no one can dispute is that we are trashing the very environment that we depend on to live.

And behind all the fuss over global temperature readings in East Anglia, there is an agenda of those who want to ignore or downplay this.

Of course Fox agrees with you: you're part of the neocon hive mind. It's there in the first place to save you from having to think for yourself about anything.

but India must OBEY the NWO.   They are very bad.   why must they be so difficult?    dont they know that it is for their own good?

they must celebrate the NWO.  Not form their own study group.

If you refuse to take your medication, maybe some E would help?
I'd love to know how a couple of English newspapers that are pretty much the house organs of the conservative party have anything to do with the international zionist conspiracy to impose a world government. Neither of them can suffer the EEC, never mind the UN.

My mistake. There was a thing in Fortean Times about the publishers pulling the plug on it. Maybe somebody else bought it out after that happened or something.
