Thank You Kindly

RavenMuse -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 2:41:28 PM)

I think it does put a few off, but I tend to look at it in terms of them not being the type of people I'm looking for anyhow. Mostly though I haven't found it to be that much of an issue, though it would possibly be more so if I didn't still manage to be mostly mobile.

Thank you for your words of advice, I just don't know how to put them more delicately... I just don't want a slave that doesn't Move Me sorry...

My point is that you don't have to express that at all. You can choose whoever you want, but you will have no options to choose from if your profile tells people "don't bother contacting me if...."

Most will take you at your word and you might miss out on one that would move you.

truesub4u -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 4:41:37 PM)

The "Do not contact me if" isn't as bad as some make it really. I think it lets some know up front. I know I've read a few that say do not contact me if... and I respect the fact that they told me up front because i'm considered a BBW... that I was told because i'm BBW they don't want to talk to me.. that to me shows.. they're not interrested in even polite conversation with someone... and not worth my time as well... <smiles>

It's in the wording. Being disabled, and whining about it is just as bad. I have my diablities as well. But I sure don't sit and complain about them. I let ones that I am speaking with know about them. So that they know my limits are not mine, but my disablities. But as with my own limits, it's fun to see how far they can be pushed.

Now so the OP doesn't think i'm blowing smoke up someones ass... I too spend my time more so in a wheel chair as well. On better days, a walker, and ever better days, neither. But because I have to deal with this on a daily basis sometimes, not knowing till I wake up how i'm going to be. It's something for one seeking me to think about as well... but doesn't mean i've been turned down left and right because of it either. I've done my share of rejecting just as well.

Maam4slavegirl -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 4:47:27 PM)

If I met a submissive with a disability I would be able to look past it if in her I found the slave heart and soul that I am seeking. But then, I do not look for looks of any kind either...to me it is what is inside of them that I am looking for.
If I were a submissive and saw the following in a dominant's profile I would have to ask what exactly it was they were looking for: this is what I saw in your profile that upset me...

As far as My Limits as to No Morbidly Obese, Grotesquely Ugly or Sickly Scrawny slaves goes, I make no bones about it if I'd be ashamed to be seen in public with them then I'll not take them as My slave end of story... I don't want to hear about, you should look at the inside of a person not the outside, to Me All ugly, fat & scrawny people have that same sap rap...

IMO these words are so demoraling to those who are real and not made of plastic like Barbie...maybe you should look in ToysRUs for your submissive.

My Wife.Free Companion is a BBW. I want the heart and screw the rest. I'll stand proud with the right girl even if sge has a wooden leg and a glass eye, and..... God helpo any who insulkts her in any way because (and I am dead serious) no one in the world will stop me eating his or her heart raw.. Now the OP isn'y a spring chicken and far to many of us aging guys have the fantasy of owninga girl who looks like dhe just wakled off a catwalk.. All legs, teeth and tits........ Got news for you guys, unless your well heeled or have the luck of the whole Irish nation, it aint going to happen... 'Nother point, in my day I've dated and yep bedded girls who have appeared on the cover of Vogue.. not a decent fuck amongst the lot.. far too self cetered but good on your arm for an ego boost....... That is what this is about isn't it? Trying to prove to your mates that you still have the ability to pull young chicks? Ehh Huh Huh  c'm on you can fess up to Uncle IB..

IrishMist -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:18:13 PM)

Is it just me or are the ones who complain the most also the ones who are looking for TRUE submissives and slaves? Curious minds want to know.

IronBear -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:21:48 PM)

Wouldn't know lass but my bet is that a "True" or "Real" sub/slave would scare the crap out of them and they wouldn't know what to do.. Something like a dawg chasing a car....

IrishMist -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:24:05 PM)

maybemaybenot -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:29:42 PM)

There are inviting ways of saying what you seek/desire/expect. Let me take one small part of your profile
and re phrase * your tone * in a way that still says what you want, but isn't quite so arrogant.

*** I'm basically a laid back person but I Can Be VERY Strict &/or Harsh if needed, I Will Be Obeyed!!! ***

translates to:

I am basically a laid back person and easy going. I do expect obedience in my subs/slaves,  that does not preclude me from being strict/harsh if the situation dicatates.

Now, I am no Dominant, but that looks a whole hell of a lot more appealing to me < as a sub> , than the Caps and exclamation points which, *appear" threatening.

Just my 2 cents, for what it is worth.

michaelGA -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:31:12 PM)

physical disabilities seem to be excepted alot easier than mental or emotional disabilities, probably due to what it would take to work with such a submissive.

truesub4u -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:31:21 PM)

LOL... Jack... as much as I know I shouldn't.. wth.. I can't eat or drink after midnight for surgery tomorrow.. might as well enjoy tonight.

Excuse me for not agreeing with you on that. Because first off.. no one knows of such disablities if not informed... as long as meds are available, monitored, and taken... and one educates themselves on handling situations.... I see them no more a problem than one with attitude or any thing else.

This isn't supprising michael, particularly when there is a large percentage of the Mental Health profession see kink (including all the BDS+M areas) as being the result of a sick mind whichneeds hours of theorapy, heavy medication and institutalisation.....   Been down that path as a Psych/Counsellor/Therapist in legal defence cases on support of a kingster or five.... .

Vancouver_cinful -> RE: Disabled People in the Lifestyle??? (3/26/2006 5:44:26 PM)

I guess I see it as a function of age. If you are 25 looking for someone that age, you can probably expect to find someone physically and emotionally unscarred(although perhaps not wise or mature)...But c'mon, folks...lets be honest...Who out there has passed their 40th birthday with no physical or emotional scars?

Life is rougher than a rugby match, and if you're looking for someone over 40 you just have to accept that they are going to show some marks of age.

Personally, I just think it adds character.
