TacomaCpl -> Lifestyle retreat question (3/26/2006 11:01:31 AM)

My kitten and I were in relaxation mode yesterday evening and began to wonder if there are any places where one could go to "vacation into the lifestyle". Master be Master, slave be slave, nude or not...a little get away from the kids type of vacation.

Anyway, we were just curious about it.

On the East Coast coming up you've got Camp Crucible, Leather Retreat and Dark Odyssey, summer camp.

You've also got Hedonism, a swingers/kink resort always in season.

I'm not sure about the West Coast in terms of outdoor retreats or resorts, but you do have Thunder in the Mountains in Denver which I hear is a phenomenal event.

For upcoming events, here's a listing I made:  http://emeraldliz.livejournal.com/82955.html
Big Alt Events March-June 2006

Thank you for the information and that link, LuckyAlbatross. It's good to see there is interest in such a retreat. * ponders a permanent lifestyle living arrangement after the kids have grown *

There was a post today from a new poster, a Mistress who has a lifestyle B&B--BlackVelvet 4U, she's in Ontario.

Unfortunately the best available, Shadowfind, closed its B&B operation.  It was a wonderful retreat full of lively discussion, where your lifestyle was honored, but you had an opportunity to learn more.

I believe there is still a lifestyle B&B in West Virginia.  I have no details.

Hedo II and III are more of a swingers place.  You can do about anything you want, but there are typically few lifestyle people in attendance.  If your lifestyle includes speach restricition for the sub, it would be a very difficult place to maintain that discipline.  Well worth the trip ( I personally prefer II)

There are weekend events all over the country, Beat Me in St. Louis, Thunder in the Mountains in Denver, and don't forget Folsom Street in Frisco where you can live your lifestyle on the public streets (within limits)

Thanks, I do it every couple of monthys.  I like it to keep myself up to date on what's going on, but it also just makes me annoyed at what little I can actually DO compared to what's going on.

But then it makes me feel good realizing you'd actually have to work NOT to find a big event going on somewhere at any weekend around the US.
