Now that his affair has trashed his hopes of moving up the GOP ladder, suddenly Stanfords (R GOV, S.C.)  finds gold in the Stimulus for S.C.  Seems once the politics is off the table he admits perhaps the Stimulus is a good thing

Though he did make sure to have the trip asking for more money not be listed on his official daily record

http://www.thestate.com/local/story/1142787.html

Then you have Brown saying the Stimulus has not saved or created 1 job;

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100204/ap_on_go_co/us_brown_stimulus

So you have 1 GOP Gov with no hopes of moving up asking for more Stimulus money and 1 New GOP Senator who wants to move up preaching the old party line

I can see beating up Sanford for opposing the stimulus then sticking his face in the trough with everyone else but why take a jab at Brown just for having an opinion you don't agree with?

Oh, that's right. He's a GOP. They're all evil. I forgot. My bad.

the only thing that will motivate the rethuglicans to cooperate in house or senate is staring down the barrels of M-16's. these bastards would watch the whole country sink under the ocean before they lifted a finger to move Any legislation.

I showed Browns response to highlight how the GOP cares more about their party line and getting back into power than actually trying to work with anyone.

Hell Brown support MA's health reform bill and even helped get parts of it in the health reform bill in Congress.  But now that he has to comply with the party line, the very parts he supported for his state he disagrees with a year later.

Perhaps if the GOP could care a little less about their party and corporate america and little more about the people of this country, they would stop all the procedural BS and filibustering to in the words of DeMint, " To bring the President down"

I wonder what the GOP would have done if anyone said the same thing about Bush just 3 years ago?????????

Yes, how dare they not steal money from others to give it to you. Be a man, at least be your own thief for christ sake.
