My name is MTSilence (and no it is not a play on the word empty). I use the name Silence in the BDSM community because of the silence we all walk around in when we are dealing with daily life. We are silent about our true feelings, our true thoughts, and even our true selves. We allow others to direct us, by governing our work behavior and social behavior. While some of the mundane rules are valuable and helpful in providing us social interaction, the fact is we get so use to being silent that we start believing the silence we live in. We close ourselves off and become what we have pretended to be, denying ourselves. (We by the way is being used to encompass the whole of humanity, since it is a common failing, that we live behind masks that we sometimes forget are just that masks.) Anyway, that is why I am Silence, not because of some long-standing interest in the late Lady Jersey, or because I have nothing to say. Far from it, I am considered by many to be highly articulate and very well educated. On the BDSM side of life I am a collared submissive. The reason I am submissive is that I enjoy being of service. :-)
