Ok, so speaking of men slapping each other on the ass, I watched the superbowl tonight and all I can say is that I'm terribly dissapointed that the ass slapping between the boys has been replaced with helmet butts. That was a major let down! :-(

Funny, I don't get that perception. In fact, there were quite a few posts on how straight men spank each other in the locker room as a form of play.

Speaking of which, (a littel off topic but still related) I came across this blog a while back entitled Heteroflexible: Erasing the line between straight and gay. I know quite a few men who are straight who have done purely S/M or bondage scenes with other men. I also know some straight women who occasionally top other women.

Frankly, most people do automatically think of gay men when speaking of men spanking men which is not always the case. I know that many straight men do enjoy spanking and the sexual orientation of the spankee has no bearing as the focus is on that form of playing and not sexual at all. I also look at myself and know that I have several friends both male and female who are straight and they would dearly love to have me over their lap and bruising up my as with a spanking or paddling. When I know that I am in need of a paddling session, I don't care about the gender of the person, all that matters is we both have a great sense of trust in each other and we are compatible personality wise.

You read me like a book. I wasn't talking about gay men exclusively, but that is the natural presumption most people make. I'm not sure if two straight men would do spanking, but perhaps a mix of gay, bi, and straight. Either way, it's not something that you see discussed.

Oddly enough, there is no shortage of web sites with women spanking women -- but not men on men. Maybe the women spanking women is a fetish both genders like -- but I'm just speculating.

azjo, I'm not particularly drawn to BDSM porn, and I think that the majority of porn is made in a way that most women aren't interested in it. *shrugs* Most of it is geared toward heterosexual men, with a much smaller amount aimed at gay men.

Most of the guys I know who are straight but play together have done so primarily when either one is a top/Dominant who is having difficulty finding female playpartners who are willing to help him learn, or *very* experienced sadist who doesn't care about gender. A lot of male bottom/submissive/masochist types wind up being wallflowers at playparties, unless they arrange someone to play with ahead of time. So, some of them are open to playing with men, especially if they are rather kink-driven, and the scenes are planned to cater to those kinks.
