ORIGINAL: cuckyman Libs hate corporations...they hate capitalism...they hate individual freedoms.... because THEY can't control it..... the people who control corporations are the STOCKHOLDERS... little ladies living off of their dividend checks.... and Obama wants that money...to hand out to turds that vote for more of the same soicalist shit....its just not gonna happen.... Corporations will use their budgets to fight the stupid democrats and I applaude the Supreme Court for recognizing that FREE SPEECH, means just that..... and Obama's chicago thugs can't do a fucking thing about it..... Unfortunately, you're mostly wrong. Corporations mainly give to both parties at the same time since our government is so corrupt, so different than what the founders intended that they need to pay protection money via lobbying. The only time you'll see corporations take a firm political stand are when an entire industry is faced with government sponsored extinction. The liberals are whining now because the insurance company's have the option of telling their side of the story directly. There's no guarantee they will as Obama promised them 30 million new customers if they don't oppose his health bill. So Mr two face is telling his retarded voters he's going to end the insurance companies one moment, then going to the same companies later and telling them they'll make more money under his plan. Like it or not Obama is intelligent. He's co-opted the insurance company's for now at least. A company that opposes him now because they think the health care bill in the long term will end them has to explain to their shareholders why they are voting against a plan that will bring 30 million new customers in the short term. I wouldn't bet on a multitude of consistent political issue ads on this issue. In fact, I would count on some insurance company's actually supporting the plan in order to gain more than their share of those 30 million newly insured based on Obama's track record of rewarding his supporter's with taxpayer money. The net effect will be to lower the credibility of of people that are against the bill. Or in other words, "How can it be as bad as they say if some insurance companies are on record supporting it ?". Obama (or his puppet masters) are experts at divide and conquer. Inappropriate corporate lobbying/protection influence will not end until our government is returned to something resembling what our founders intended. I'm not holding my breath.
