That's totally true about some younger people getting into old bands like Pink Floyd and Led Zep, the difference is that those younger people are getting into their original recordings. Yeah, I know about the brief Led Zep reunion with Bonoz's son, but what younger people are getting into are those original recordings.

I wonder if folks here will consider themselves old and washed up at the end of their careers.
The trouble with a gig like this is although people say they like new things, they are also full of shit. They want the old hits.
So we have a band more or less forced to recreate something 40 years old, and crushed into a time limit. I'd have liked to see them on a concert stage instead, mixing the expected hits with new approaches and the artistry that 40 years of mastery brings.
It bothered me to see them summarily dismissed. It's not an easy gig, and few people can do what they do and can do.
And people age. It's part of all our lives. Not the end, as many seem to believe it should be.
What's funny is that while some older people will be dismissive of older bands these same bands have younger fans.
I talk to teenagers and twenty somethings who listen to Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
