This is kinda like the other questions that you have asked...

I do not know how long you have been doing WIITWD, but it seems like you romanticize it quite a bit, as if you embue submissiveness with some sort of ethereal qualities... it isn't all that precious to me anymore. It is kinda like my other qualities... like being an extrovert, or having a good sense of humor, or being self confident, or being straight or gay... if you think about it like that.. would you start a thread entitled  "What do you feel the is the positive things that being straight has brought you?"

I can only answer that I wouldn't know what positive things in has brought me as I have always been this way.. like I have always been extroverted, for example

i romanticize it because that's the type of relationship i have and have always had. We met as teenagers and have built a life that suits us.

i fell in love with him the minute our eyes met and i am still in love with him. He works hard to make me happy and we work hard together to give each other what each of us needs. We've seen some very hard times, but we made it through and now it's our time to just enjoy and live life the best that we know how.

If you met as teenagers how can you know what your dynamic does for you and what is simply growing up, I mean no offense but its a long time since you were a teenager.

Are you telling me that you have known you were a submissive and lived WIITWD since you were a teenager? Or did you discover this later in life?

The reason why I am asking is it sounds as though you are new to calling yourself "submissive", It doesn't make you "less" submissive if you have only recently come to know what it means to be one, but it would explain a lot (to me that is) if you were new to WIITWD.

It reminds me of when I first came to know about wiitwd and I went and read Castle Realm... very romanticized and warm and fuzzy and not very rooted in reality. Even though I was kinda frenzied when I first started researching what it meant to be submissive, I also knew it really had not changed the core of who I was, it was just an acknowledgment of "oh, so much makes more sense now"...

As time has went by it is really hard for me to separate submissive from everything else, to the point that when I am not with a man that is dominant over me I can almost forget that I am submissive... I do not know if that makes sense....

Then perhaps you can answer your own thread... what positive things has being "submissive" brought you?

ROFLMAO, that is hilarious, Win. I am so glad I am not the only one who finds these endlessly vapid threads funny.

The other really interesting thing about this, is that if someone were actually THAT happy, would they need to constantly tell everyone about it?

And. from age 17 till her 40's to NOT change at all? That is some scary stuff.

I have been trying to be patient and remember what it was like when I first "discovered" my submissiveness... perhaps this is a situation of a Castle Realm reader finding their way into our midst, if that is the case she has a lot to learn from us...

foreverowned, do not take this wrongly, but you do sound somewhat new to all of this, we submissive sorts are really not that much different than anybody else, we are not unicorns or rare exotic flowers.. Even if my Daddy treats me like one
