One thing...cannot stress this enough.......if the Dom/me doesn't ask you beforehand what you think your limits are or get a broad idea of what you are looking for, since you are new, within the play....THEN RUN! You don't want to find out after you are tied to a cross that you suddenly don't like any kind of pain and the person behind the flogger is a sadist...this is not a good time for that kind of discovery. Have a quick conversation before playing, if you feel comfortable, then do it but have your friend nearby watching the whole time so you can signal her if you need the scene to end. Aside from that, just learn what you can, talk to everyone that will listen and ask questions.
