Status: offline 		Subtee, will have mine done before the end of the month, it's just a matter of carving out some time and not getting distracted.  I use tax act because it is cheaper, I compared them, and like was mentioned earlier, they yield the exact same result.

It was a little harder this year than last year cuz I am self-employed, plus have a girl who works for me.

But it wasn't too bad cuz I use Turbo Tax, and I payed extra for TT Home and Business.


I used to use TT, but I've been using Taxact. I have no idea why I changed. Did you get more or less or same as you expected?


Lots more, but that's just cuz I'm a single mom.

Is there any particular time of day or ritual? Do you burn incense and scream? What about sacrifices, that seems biblical, but still right, somehow.

Status: offline 		Darn it all!!!!!!  I got it all done and just had to verify I was human and the dumb thing is telling me "invalid entry".  So, for the record, according to illiterate people sending me cmail and the tax prep site I am a robotic male slave. 

And I'm getting a nice refund too... if I ever get the thing filed!

Status: offline 		I'm lucky.  There's a guy I used to work with who is an accountant.  For the past 3 yrs he's done my taxes for me, and tonight he stopped by the hotel.. he's gonna do them again this year (and he never charges me!!)

Hang it there and you shall overcome!  LOL  I just checked and my efile has been accepted.  Now to wait out them 8-14 days.  *sighs*

I'm just glad for the extra cash.  It is going to go a long way in helping with my upcoming move and also eliminate pretty much all my bills until the move.  It's kind of exciting actually, more because it means that I am that much further down the road.  I can hardly wait!
