I think you are not understanding me... I mean why do some women post provocative pictures of themselves... what do they hope to gain.. what are they saying with the pictures.

It is not necessary to post pictures of breasts any more than cocks...I'm not talking taste but why?

I believe it is the same message as men posting provocative pictures.... all want to attract the opposite or desired sex.

Honestly, I don't agree that breasts in a corset equal a cock shot. To me, that's like a picture of a guy starting to pull down his jeans but you can't see anything. That doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Part of my thinking is no doubt because I used to have H-cups. It didn't matter if I was trying to show those fuckers off or hide them. They were there. The cleavage WAS there if the shirt had any neckline that didn't hug my throat. They ALWAYS stuck out. They were ALWAYS on display. I can't do anything about that. A guy can, however, choose not to take a picture of himself with a boner. That isn't a constant state of being for him.

Our breasts, how big they are, and how prominent they are are things we women can't change short of removing them completely. I've had a reduction and they are still naughty little puppies that annoy me.

To hide them as effectively as a pair of buttoned up jeans for a cock, we'd need duct tape at the least and surgery in a lot of cases. Because of that, I don't really view the two as comparable. I do agree that a vulva shot, however, is the same. I don't want to see it. It's easy to not show, please don't stick it in my face.

I would agree with this point, but would also consider turning it around. Regardless of the self assigned label on the profile, a disembodied cock shot solicits ridicule. It would seem to be an indicator of a submissive man; at least on 'adult' or CM-type sites. Where the audience would be more 'mature' and/or 'adult' the "shock value", and in turn the hope of "revolting" a female, is reduced. It's not the same conditions used by a public 'flasher'.

I don't think the same thought process goes through the female counterpart. I see more pride in display exhibited rather than a need for 'shock value' attention. Although some male parts include commentary alluding to pride of ownership - many are unwarranted; others, as beth puts it, are just "scary".

I'm not necessarily talking cock shots...but it makes no difference...a few weeks ago there was a thread about men showing their butts and how distasteful it was...yet I just came from the log on screen and there were 4 women with their butts in the camera and no men.

I think I'm probably not understanding you.

See, the shots that I have up are from fun times that I've had in the past.  That's what people saw when they met Me.  I see this in the same way when folks post a 'play' type shot.  People who might happen to be naked, but they are tied in rope, or they are showing marks from play, etc.

The random body part shot, doesn't have that factor.  That's honestly not what I'm going to see if there's no play involved.  I use to tell a running gag about the silliness of sending cock shots.  It's not like I'm going to meet you out in the world, and pull down your pants so I can see your dick in order to recognize you.

Call me a bit old fashioned or a prude, but I generally refrain from speaking with someone who has graphic photos in their profile. For me, it just sends the wrong message. While CM is a BDSM site, it's also a personals site. As I'm not looking for a wham-bam-thank-you-mam kind of relationship, I don't want to present myself in a way that would insinuate that I am. There's a small bit of cleavage in some of my photos, but that's about it (and even that is on the mild side). I would much rather the focus be on what I had to say in my profile rather than on a 'sexy' photo.

Thanks Julia for the answer...but women with large breasts are not sluts to me...in fact no woman is a slut just because they want to show their body in any fashion they like. I hope most of us here on this board are beyond shallow judgments...You know don't judge the book by the cover type thing.
