I know this may sound like a perfectly ridiculous question...but why is it that i cannot get a butt plug to stay in my..butt? My muscles seem to be on some kind of mission to push them out...i've tried all types and sizes. Not a problem getting it in, at all...but keeping it there? Just takes away from the whole experience when i have to fight the darned thing so. And, so we're clear on this...it's not falling out...it's being pushed out Any suggestions, oh smart and experienced butt plug people?

Get a butt plug harness to hold it in place. Good luck.

If you have strong muscles, those things will shoot across the room. (erm...so I've heard...[:-][:(]) The only things I've heard that works is a certain design by the anal sex lady (you'll have to google her), and/or a belt type device to keep it in.

~Fast Reply~ I have this problem as well though I don't have a solution beyond to suggest anal beads. I haven't had issues with them.

I am assuming you used the bathroom and are using a plug that is smaller around the base... Two options really - an inflatable bulb like plug that would be too big to push out once it is inflated (if you can handle it), or as mentioned - use a harness and keep them in.

its a natural reaction, its natural for the anal cavity to push on intrusions... maybe try slowly inserting the plug, then sit on it till the muscles has adjusted might take a few minutes once the muscle is well adjusted you'll notice pulling it out is not so easy, your muscles will have adjusted to the plug... good luck

But if you find one with enough difference between the wide point and where the sphincter is supposed to sit you can get it to stay. A harness would definitely solve your problem but you may want to find something that isn't leather, something you can actually get clean. A leather butt plug harness is pretty shitty.

Insert the plug as normal and use spit as your lube (trust me) Now once its inserted Push like your trying to pass something but hold it in place. Your muscles should push out and the plug should stay in the exact same spot. Now relax and your muscles should actually pull the plug in. And as your spit dries the plug stays in even more firmly. Has worked for me since i started anal.

I've not encountered this, but I have been told that you CAN use too much lube. Try cutting back on the amount you use, and SubSadden a couple posts above me had some good suggestions, too.

My girl and I wouldn't be terribly enthused about that sort of fluid exchange, is there any difference between doing that and using a water based lube? Also, I've always been under the impression that getting the plug glued in there wasn't the best plan.

You might have a hard time getting it back out once the spit dries - works for some people, but generally not the best idea. Other then that SubSadden seems to have the solution..
