Hi Everyone,

Is it possible for a slave--that knows either what she/he wants in a D/s relationship or has previous experience--to pursue a sub to create him/her as the slave's Owner?

mnottertail -> RE: A slave created a Dom/me. . . . (2/9/2010 2:00:12 PM)

Anything is possible, but very much less is probable.

Money might help this situation (in a temproary selfish self satisfaction sort of way) along considerably.

Money can't buy you love, but it can buy some shit that looks a whole lotta like it and you would have a hard time distinguishing the difference at some point.

In My opinion, no.  That's called trying to get someone to be what they are really not.  It doesn't tend to end well.

Imagine this person's target has no dominant tendencies. Better for the slave in question to come clean to whoever it is and find out if an arrangement might be reached.

I get slave boys trying to turn me into a Domme pretty much every day. Hasn't worked yet, and if it did I doubt they'd like the results. Find a real one.

While getting a submissive to become dominant is not a likely occurance, you may be able to find a submissive or a switch who would be willing to top you. Though, you must understand, topping a person and dominating a person are two entirely different things.

Dumbass.

SublineAvatar,

Highly unlikey... the odds (I dare suspect) are on par with buying a lottery ticket and it being a million dollar jack pot winner. Even more so in regards for it becoming an M/s relationship.

Good luck with it.

Do you really want to be with someone whose pretending to be something or someone for you?

It smells of desperation.

I prefer authenticity.

I don't get it.  The only thing that a sub would have over a vanilla is an appreciation of the lifestyle.  You're asking someone to do something foreign to them, like training a dog to meow.  I'd sooner try to convert a vanilla.

Now Now, according to things I've read on the internet, everybody in fact has both a submissive and Dominant side. In regards to how accurate this information is, is rather confusing to me. I've known a few submissives to go to the switch side to upgrade to a Domme status, to down grade to switch and be back to where they started from. Go figure.

I myself am a little switchish with a certain degree of activities, however... I can't ever foresee ever being properly converted to over to the dark side of slavedom, with a Mistress with her boot heels panted into my back, taking a whip to my ass (Not Ever, Never, Ever). I simply can not relate to this conversation concept. I'm not saying it ain't possible... But in the spirit and tradition of keeping an open mind.

I truely do wish the OP good luck. Yes, anybody will be whatever you want them to be for the right number of C notes.

Don't count on it.

No. You can manipulate them into doing this, but you cannot make someone who is happy being a follower, suddenly become an alpha personality.

Andalusite -> RE: A slave created a Dom/me. . . . (2/9/2010 9:09:36 PM)

It's *possible* that you could bring out the switchy side of a submissive who previously hadn't explored that area, and hadn't had any interest before. My own journey was the other way around. I started out as a Domme for 5 years, then was in a variety of egalitarian kinky relationships (top, bottom, or switch without an overt D/s dynamic, but leaning a bit dominant) for another 6 years or so. I had my first experience with submission with a casual playpartner - completely took me by surprise, since I'd never reacted to anyone submissively before that. He wasn't compatible with me for a relationship, but the following year, I met my previous Dominant, and we were together for 3 years.

However, even if the other person is capable of dominating (rather than just topping), *you* might not be able to draw that reaction from them. Certainly, there are also some people who have no interest whatsoever in the other side of the whip or kneel. It's not the kind of thing you can force a time-line on, in any case.

It's highly improbable.  I have seen this situation with a friend of mine, and it's been years with numerous submissives and slaves all being worked on to becoming something that they were not really, or ready for.  Some just don't have it in them to be an owner.  You might have some fun with a switch, you may just want to find a Dominant, but to paiting a tabby to look like a tiger still only gets you a tabby and not really a tiger.  Sometimes you just can't get what you want if it's not really in them in the first place.
