My guess is that is the season total and not just the past 5 days. We are hanging in there.

Nope, we have something close to 72, just within the past few days. It's been hell.

I got stuck three times on the way to work Monday and I live ten minutes away from the mall. It took a half an hour to get into the town itself. I haven't had school all week and the mall was closed yesterday and today and probably will be tomorrow as well.

Also, a lot of people are losing and have lost their power.

Yeah. Maryland is drowning in snow.

Mid Hudson Valley, New York. We were supposed to get 10" yesterday. Maybe got three.

We've gotten about 3 inches, going on 4 down here in Denton, TX. School is closed today. YAY!

I know we are at about 48 where I am, so I wasn't sure how much difference there was north and east, though I knew it was more severe. I have been too busy battling my own and two waaaaaay too excitable kids. My best wishes to those trying to get through this. We'll all just have to hang in there together!

The month to date snowfall for Baltimore (BWI) is 49.2 inches as of midnight last night.

The season to date (since July 1st) is 79.9 inches as of midnight last night.

Here in southern West Virginia we are at 99.4 inches for the winter (since Sept 1st).
