Well, you're off to an interesting start! At least you got some attention, though. *lol*

Here's what ya do; slow down, take a look around, talk to EVERYBODY as an equal unless or until they offer something more. Read the forums and learn the difference between a dominant person and a self-proclaimed "dominate".

Use your wit and charm for a bit of self-deprecating humour at the appropriate times, and do not expect people to treat you as a "master" until you have earned it.

Oh, and coming on a site and questioning whether or not it "lives up to your standards" is not a good way to make friends and influence people...it brings out the sharks. (of which I can be one, but I see some possibility in you...)

Take your time and learn something. If you do, this just could be about the most fun you've ever had...

Oh, I'm not worried about sharks, Chris...I bite too. :) Sounds like sage advice, thank you that lady.

Could have sworn I filled out that profile thingy when I signed up, so I went back to take a look, and indeed, all the fields were filled out, even the little tickbox that says, 'Hide Profile' was empty. Anyway, it said I lived in Canada, maybe it took 'London' to mean the one over there.

Can someone take a look and tell me if my profile is now visible?

You have a profile of sorts.

It doesn't say anything.

You don't have a picture.

You don't have a journal.

Unless you're just looking to hang in the forums, you may want to fix those things.

Ok, it's a bit plain, now you said I have a profile of sorts, but it says nothing (which can't be any sort of profile but let's forge forwards), can you tell from it I love Jazz?

I tend to stay out of threads like this but I think this topic is important; Not everyone gets turned on "by harshness of expression". There are various styles of Dominance.

Dominance is about controlling, directing and leading. It is not the same thing as being domineering. While the two traits may go together for most, I'd like to remind people that being bossy does not neccessarily make you a leader.

I took a class with a woman called Amber Goddess on 5 styles of dominance. It was a wonderful eye-opener for me. I highly reccomend it for both Dominants and submissives.

But no, dude, I mean it doesn't say ANYTHING. There is not one word there. I'm not saying that you're speaking but I'm not hearing anything. There are no words on your profile.
