Status: offline 		I have noticed some posts that are so obviously scams. They go along the lines of "I need a new Master/Owner to PAY for my release and relocate me". This is accompanied by a gorgeous, professionally done picture most likely from a porn site. I just dont get why collarme would allow such profiles to be posted, especially when they are blatanly asking for money right from the beginning.

All volunteer site.  50 gazillion people log in each day.  17 gazillion new profiles each day.  This isn't Match, where someone reads your profile before you put it up.  You might have noticed your own profile was instantly approved.  Report, block, and move on.  Laugh if you want.  I enjoy laughing.  It makes my day lighter.

No.  CM is supposed to maintain that this is an adult site.  If you read TOS, the site has a policy against illegal acts.  This is why a lot of scams are actually legal.  If you are foolish enough to voluntarily send someone money, there's a loophole.

You want to go back to the old days where profiles had to be approved?  How many days are you willing to wait for profile approval without bitching about it?  Back when pics were being approved, even though it said to allow 72 hours for approval, the bitching threads at that time were about it taking sooooooooooo longggggggggggg for pics to be approved.

I think "Do Not Send Money To Other Users For Any Reason" sums it up. Of course it is unenforceable, on any website. If someone has a problem here, I don't know what to say.

I only wish someone would really try to scam me here, rather than trying to drag me to yahoo. I think it might be fun.

Or maybe they think the member could just use some common sense and not send money to a stranger on the internet. They post warning about it on the site. But it seems many people just don't get it.

Status: offline 		it is clear that CM does not look at the profiles that are submitted. and reporting them just does one thing. when the profile gets kicked off they just make a new one. so instead of reporting them I just hit the hide button so they never come up on a search again. that way they do not make a new profile and it is one less that I have to look at and try and decide if they are real or not. sure after about a month or so of not getting anything they would create a new profile but at least that is one month of thier time that is wasted. :)

Where do they say that they actively moniter them? There are a LOT of profiles here and the CM staff are volunteers. You report the profile, they look at it. Personally, I'm not interested in paying them to go through all the profiles all the time to make sure no one updated theirs to be non-kosher.

It's that or every profile update has to be personally reviewed by a mod. They used to do that. A lot of people bitched and it was frustrating to have to wait days just to correct a typo.

Status: offline 		I have a nervous condition. The moment someone ask for money on the net my fuckfinger comes in to play instantly. It is quite involuntary but i have not heard an official diagnose for the condition
