Status: offline 		I'm the same age as the op. The Man's a few years older. Looking around at my friends, the ones my age almost all have put some pounds on over the years as have we. We're all competent cooks, we like to eat, to dine out, to drink good wine, stop for coffee and a pastry along the way.

It would be totally unrealistic for him to have looked for a svelte hottie 30 years younger than him who wouldn't mind him being overweight and out of shape. Did he look for someone overweight specifically? No, no more than I did. What we did look for was someone compatible which means enjoying the same things like dining out, making and eating great meals at home, having our social lives center around food. And people who do this, tend not to be thin.

Status: offline 		I am not stick thin, I am curvy, I have an ass and breasts.  Think Jane Mansfield or a smaller Mae West....so far, no complaints.  I also prefer men with a little "upholstery", super thin does nothing for me.  I set a rule many years ago never to be involved with a man who weighs less than I do.

Status: offline 		Master's the first man I've ever been with that stated He'd like me to gain weight.  At 5/5 125 I'm quite happy with where I am. He just likes a little more junk in the trunk, LOL.  In general my experience is that men prefer skinny or healthy build women though. I get far more attention at my current weight than I do 20 pounds heavier.

Orson Wells would be way more interesting to talk to. He was really distinguished in those wine commercials too. Kinda hot and professorial. And pretty hot was he was younger too.

Its a big mistake to get with someone who expects you to change who you are. Especially if doing so would hurt your self esteem. Beware.

Whereas if it was a Hotbody.....

and don't even get all sanctimonious and say women don't do that. I was a bartender for years and you have no idea the conversations I've heard women have... :-)

If hes vapid too, Id rather be with the bigger man. Or alone! Maybe not 600 pounds but a big ole pot belly doesnt put me off if the mans sexy.

Status: offline 		not to worry, He understands how important it is to me.  We've arrived at a compromise, I won't lose any, and He won't ask me to gain any.  seems fair.  One thing I love though, it does wonders for my self esteem to know He thinks I could be heavier.  I'm always concerned about looking fat, and knowing He feels this way makes me think "oh well, if He feels I'm too skinny, then I can be naked and not be scared about looking fat!"
