SeamlessKameleon -> in need of advice about FLOGGERS! (2/12/2010 11:38:23 AM)

i'm looking to get some advice or suggestions...
what are good things to look for in a flogger?
i don't want to go exclusively by price, obviously, and this isn't my area of expertise.
i'm hoping to surprise Him for valetine's day :)
any pointers?
thanks!
ps, its ME getting flogged :)
and i do have fairly high pain tolerance.
i'm looking for some suggestions or facts about length, type, material, number of ends, etc...

You can never have enough floggers. I've lost count on the ones I have and the variety of styles. I'm still looking for the perfect matched and balanced set. Like any toy you can get carried away collecting them.

From experience - don't buy from on-line unless it's so inexpensive you don't care; unless it's coming from a vendor you know and trust.

You'll need to spend a little money to get good ones. Go someplace where you can touch, see, smell, and ideally feel them.

If you want to take a trip from Santa Cruz to LA you'd have a chance to see a good variety tomorrow at the Threshold Vendor Market.

Happy Shopping!

Since valentine's day is so close, getting one mail order would be pricey. But i have 3 i bought from the stockroom. 2 leather and one suede. Like Mercnbeth said, it is best to get one from a reputable place. There are some cheap ones where the tails will just fall out, or the handle unravel.
the ones i bought from the stockroom are very well made, and have lasted 4 years or more and are still in great shape. One thing on length is the amount of swing room available. In the playroom, which has more limited space we use the 24 inch long tails.
