Well seeing as a Boeing 757 is made of light weight materials (including aluminum alloys and epoxy composites), one could reasonably assume that the fire created by the jet fuel (which burns at temps between 800 and 1500 degrees F), would be hot enough to vaporize most of the plane.
But who am I to try and debunk the truthers, at least this keeps em busy and typically in one place. [;)]
I have never posted here before but have been reading this one. I agree with those that feel as if there is extreme reasonable doubt as to whether 9/11 came off just as we were told. But, I know a few things about mechanics and have been researching 9/11 myself as much as I can now and over the last couple of years. I am begining to get real pissed-off and mostly at the govt. secrecy surrounding this attack.
So from what I saw on 9/11 on TV through the following years and putting a few things together I have come to the conclusion that the admin. story is about the wildest conspiracy theory I've ever heard.
For example on the subject of these aircraft. I, looking at science and recorded TV since, try what one might call comparative reasoning. Let's compare results.
BTW, not that we are really seeking the truth but those planes' structures are made of titanium and steel, the engines 6 tons each and trust me, they do not vaporize on contact.
It has never ceased during my reading, to amaze me how I am being asked to believe that these planes can all burn so, so hot and to do all of that damage to the WTC, even bringing down a building one didn't hit, yet do not burn themselves up.
Am I being asked to believe that they burn what 800-1500 degrees maybe even hotter as an operating temp. but what, 3500 degrees when it hits something ? How ? Why ? I don't.
I am being asked to believe that two jets, each bringing down more steel than an aircraft carrier, while others leave only a small hole in the Pentagon and not even scorching the ground in PA. I don't.
Am I being asked to believe that a rookie (somebody kicked out of flight school for incompetence) did not only a majestic 270 degree turn but defied the laws of aerodynamics flying this jet airliner 400-500 mph only a few feet off the ground ? I don't.
So I have come to a new conclusion, if a commercial jet airliner hit the pentagon or crashed in the dirt pit in Pa. that I saw on TV where the Somerset Co., Pa. coroner did his interview, and almost but not entirely vaporized on contact, then I am the fucking queen of Egypt.
