Now, the conspiracy theorists likely claim that video was faked or whatever.  Since we all saw it happen live though, that means the entire video would have had to have been created well before the incident.

Those millions did not see the second plane hit live. There is nearly always some delay and that is sufficient for an editor to overlay a couple of seconds with another image. It just takes a few clicks with a mouse button.

So, within a few seconds, they were able to replace live footage with pre-done footage, with zero discrepancies, and with enough foreknowledge of the after effects to make it blend seamlessly, from a multitude of different cameras filming at different angles.

Nope, I still think the truth (2 planes crashing into the WTC) is more plausible than such intricately crafted fiction.

All that is required to forge such footage is to overlay the footage with a couple of seconds of a blurry plane and a hole. Off all the intricate aspects of the media hoax that is the simplest thing to achieve, possibly by the team that shot the footage.

RealOne has argued that there is a discrepancy: a hole that disappeared for a fraction of a second.

The reality is that any film material can be manipulated. Simply watch the transporter in any Star Trek episode. You do not truly think that people can start to shimmer and then disappear from the transporter room only to shimmer and materialize somewhere else, do you? Such and similar manipulation was done in the sixties, it was done in the silent movies of Charlie Chaplin one hundred years ago, and it is far more easily done these days with the help of a computer.

Heh.

I did do a fairly exhaustive investigation into the reporting of events in New York, reading and relying on what other people have written about that on the internet. I do not think that I have much on that in my own written material as I only include facts presented by others if I can contribute something myself to their interpretation. The honor for the findings of other people should go to those other people. I hope that the information they presented on the internet still exists.
I did notice some interesting peculiarities in the New York media reporting and I did have some suspicions, but there is a difference between having suspicions and having good arguments.
As well these my investigations were several years ago and the details are rather vague in my memory now.

I do know, though, that there were no planes that crashed at any of the four sites.

Since you reject any evidence that doesn't include first-hand witnesses, I wonder how you could 'know' such a thing, unless you were on all four sites at once.

You believe what you like. Hell, some people believe in Satan, angels, and that there are little pixies that wake up at night and that trot around the grass.

Well, it's easy to seem confident, when much of your argument is "I know something but I'm not gonna tell you.  No really, I know!"

Of course, it does nothing to fool those of us that DO know better. =)

Not only that, he seems to reject any evidence from first-hand witnesses unless those witnesses have photographic memories and telescopic eyesight.

See ? With enough time you all will be here where I am at. I don't believe anything. Really, the footage could've been doctored to show something suspicious, and of course that would have to be done fairly quickly. If that is so, theie motive is pretty clear.

On the other hand someone could take months to edit up footage that shows planes when there were none. The problem with this theory is that many people have been to airports and know jets make alot of noise. Or is the contention that they flew at a low speed and shut down the engines before getting there ? I haven't heard that one before but it is as plausible as any other supposition.

If you don't trust video, then don't trust video, that would mean all video.
