Honestly, to me all the business about "how to pamper and serve" is so much meaningless crap. When I look at Carol and decide she has become either better or worse, what I'm looking at is how pliable she is, inside and out. I'm looking to see how many boundaries I'm running into and how hard they are to move. For me, this has more to do with "life" than it does massages. For instance, let's assume she wants to be a woodworker doing studio furniture and I want her to do finish carpentry. Or, maybe I want her to lose some weight or stop smoking or whatever. I consider her performance excellent when there either are no boundaries or whatever boundaries we come across move so fluidly that I barely notice them. I take the external obedience as a given. I'm more interested in what's going on inside her head.
