Anarchists are simply assholes who get off on being assholes. Whenever these vandalizing shitheads clash with the police I always root for the cops.

ETA: Okay, before some people get their panties in a twist, I am not seriously advocating that excessive violence be used on these jackasses. Even they have rights. They do need to have the full extent of the law thrown against them, however. What could possibly be the point of engaging in such destruction (other than getting off on some sort of sick, twisted adrenaline rush)? Do they seriously believe that such tactics endear them, or their supposed cause (whatever the hell that is), to people?, I doubt it. They're not stupid. Rather they are possesed of an overweening arrogance that permits them to inflict harm on strangers to satisfy their own belief that they are some kind of noble rebel. It is self worship of the most sickening kind.
If somebody needs an adrenaline rush that bad they should do the rest of us a favor and take up skydiving.
