Ok boys and girls. This is for those of you that don't live with your Masters/Mistresses.

You trust them to stop when you scream the safe word, but do you trust them enough to do your taxes?

Aileen1968 -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 6:47:29 AM)

Ha. He stops whenever he wants to stop. It doesn't matter one bit what I say.
He has every password to every account I have. Financial, personal, social, etc.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 7:13:33 AM)

Yes. He's a money guy.

BeIgnited -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 7:18:38 AM)

Absolutely. He's working to be a CPA.[:D]

RCdc -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 7:42:00 AM)

Never have had use for a safeword.
Funny how many dominants work with money or deal with tax issues.[:D]
Yes I would/did, whether I was living with him or not.

I know a Dom who is a CPA, him I 'd trust to do my taxes, without any play time.
I know a couple of them who have CPA's do their taxes; them i wouldn't- if they won't do their own, they're not doing mine.
FWB- I have no idea as to his accounting skills, it wasn't a consideration. Besides, I keep nilla man around for little things like figuring out the taxes, lol.

that's hilarious. I'm trying to type though the laughing.

Missokyst -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 9:26:53 AM)

My x still has all my passwords, info and does my taxes. I wouldn't have given them if I did not trust him as a man.

DesFIP -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 9:42:34 AM)

He has enough trouble doing his for his business, adding mine to his stress would be unfair. My accountant does mine, has for years.

seekingexpmaster -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 11:15:31 AM)

Wait....I'm stuck on safe words? I don't get safe words.....Didn't know they existed. Guess I have a trusting relationship with my Master.

batshalom -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 1:01:32 PM)

Good Jesus. Some things are like virtual sandpaper against my ass.

Anyway, as for the OP, oh hell no he wouldn't do my taxes. He wouldn't send my taxes to his accountant either. I spent 5 months of last year trying to wade through the mess (read fines and penalties) his accountant caused him from last year. I do my own taxes on TurboTax. It's not that I don't trust him with my financial affairs (he does make investments for me) - it's that I don't trust ANYONE with my financial affairs. Now if you wanna talk about trusting him to fix a very nice meal for a dinner party of close friends, or trusting him to order me to do something I don't want to do when it's rainy and cold, you bet!

littleone35 -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 1:44:15 PM)

I trust him with my life not with my taxes my taxes are very complex i don't even understand them myself. I give them all to my tax lady and she makes sense of them. I think Master could make sense of them also but why give him the extra stress of figuering them out. I will just let the tax lady do it. It's what i pay her for.

Matt's littleone

I don't have a safeword.....never have had .....If he wants to do my taxes, fair play to that man.

agirl

ETA... he can also raise the kids if he fancies it..... What are taxes?

lucylucy -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 3:11:11 PM)

I do live with my owner . . . does that matter?

Anyway, I don't have a safeword . . . and he already knows all the ins and outs of my finances, so sure, he can do my taxes. I don't see it happening, but if it would make him happy, oh, yeah.

LaTigresse -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 3:15:27 PM)

After the fiasco I have been through the last couple of years with a crooked accountant, the IRS, a tax attorney (not a cheap endeavour)  and paying tens of thousands of dollars TWICE, plus penalties. I don't trust ANYone to do my taxes. But if someone is going to give me a written, and insured guarantee...........I don't care whether they call themselves master, mistress, or DeputyDog......they can have them.

Of course.

However, if he *wanted* to do them, I'd question his sanity. Taxes - yuck!

agirl I thought about putting in a disclaimer especially for you. I don't know how you Britts handle it over there, but since you guys sort of Invented Taxes[8D], I figured you had to pay just like we do.

AquaticSub -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 3:44:41 PM)

~Fast Reply~

When we were living apart, I wouldn't have expected him to do my taxes as we didn't have merged finances in any way. However, if he had wanted to, I would have gladly handed it over to him! [:)]

whiteslavebitch -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 4:45:12 PM)

I trust him completely. If he desired to do my taxes he would be welcome to. But it's much easier for him and me when I use an online tax prep program.

Kaiel -> RE: Now to lighten things up a little... (2/15/2010 5:40:39 PM)

Ha! I am the Domme in the relationship.... and I would never want to do the damn taxes... W/we have too much shit, exemptions, tax credits, capital gains... Nahhhh!! As for safewords, I have never given him one... ( I wonder if he'd like one?!).... goes off to ponder that!
