I could not agree more Howard; especially when it comes to president of Obama.

Howard Dean: Democrats ‘need a spinal transplant’

WASHINGTON -- One year after being swept into the White House and bestowed huge majorities in Congress, Democrats have seen their towering lead over Republicans evaporate. Why? According to previous DNC chairman Howard Dean, they're just not tough enough.

Dean declared Thursday that Democrats "need a spinal transplant" as the party is too quick to succumb to Republican intimidation rather than stand by their convictions and bring their ideas to fruition.

"Republicans are so irresponsible," Dean said. "They put the good of their party ahead of the good of the country, and when that happens they don't deserve to serve in office anymore."

Dean, also former governor of Vermont, staunchly defended the efforts of Democratic Sens. Tom Harkin (IA) and Jeanne Shaheen (NH) to reform the minority party's ability to block legislation using the filibuster.

Hmmm... or could it be that some Dems put the good of their country ahead of their party?

Got to love the spin though.

Democrats are not a uniform block--they range from quite conservative to quite progressive. And argument and debate is good.

They should reach a decision, though, and act. Dean is right.

What Dems actually vote "quite conservative" as opposed to campaigning that way?

Do your own research.

You've never heard of Blue Dog Democrats?

Haven't you wondered why we don't already have a health care bill a year ago?

lmao. Depending on convenience its "support your claim" or "do your own research on my claim".

Voting against one bill that is unpopular with most of the country, including disputes within your own party, does not make a voter "quite conservative". We dont already have a health care bill because the POTUS left it to a couple of idiots to draft so he couldnt take the blame for the pieces of shit they turned out to be. It has nothing to do with the "blue dog democrats" other than that they arent totally stupid. And note that many of them are DINO's that could only get elected without a D after their name. I excluded them in my question.

So yes, support your own fucking claim.

I'm not going to prove that world is round to you either.

It's pretty damn common knowledge.

You brought up the voting records. So check 'em.

When I make a claim, I'll do my own research.

What a putz.

One of Obama's biggest mistakes was not making Howard Dean his Chief of Staff instead of Rahm Emmanuel.

You have to understand the framework here.

Strom Thurmond was a conservative.
Newt Gingrich is a moderate.
Lindsey Graham is a liberal.
Dede Scozzafava is a far left Marxist.
