have Doms/Dommes thought about Henna as a way to continually alter their subs skin? (ei- with words, images and etc)

for those of us that are not into pain at all, or do not heal well its a good way to keep a sub/slave marked and not have the aftermath if the process doesnt come out well.

That actually sounds like a good idea perhaps like me (although only a lowly sub/slave)  nobody has thought of that possibility ?

Perhaps you should post this in the "ask a Mistress" section !!
You may get a better response ?

Nice pic by the way !

It does sound like a good idea but one might be hard pressed to find this kind of artist in their area. I say might because I'm not really sure how you go about finding one, really. Would one be associated with a tattoo parlor? Anyway, it does sound like a feasible idea for marking a new slave without making it permanent.

I think henna is a great way to produce beautiful, non-permanent body art. One lady that is in our local scene often comes to parties wearing nothing but henna. She's had intricate designs all over her body, a henna corset and boots, etc done on her and it's always stunning.

There are henna artist directories available, like this one:  http://www.hennapage.com/henna/where/artists.html

I'm more a fan of permanent marker- more vulgar and vandalizing in that way.  Scrawling "this body isn't worth writing something interesting on" is the start of a very fun time for me.

I haven't applied henna, but I do plan to get a kit someday. They sell them in every crafts store. Basically the henna mix is made up and it is applied gently with a kind of paintbrush, covering the area generously. The person tattooed then waits for the mix to dry and flake off, which can be annoying to do. It leaves a nice golden brown tattoo that can last for a couple weeks. The process is relatively simple, so long as you aren't trying to learn the intricate patterns of Hindu henna tattoos. I had one on my hands.

The best thing to do is to practice painting on paper first, but at least with these tattoos, mistakes aren't permanent.

I have seen henna artists even in the malls, but I have never thought of it used like some of these suggestions.  Thanks for some good ideas!

One of the nice things about henna is that one doesn't have to be an "artist" to use it since  it isn't permanent. I've done henna on my self and others and it's fun and easy. You can paint it on as someone else suggested or you can apply it similar to cake icing in a pipette (thought I just used a small plastic sandwich bag with one of the corners cut off).

Henna is excellent for body artwork. However you should test a patch of skin before you do any major artwork because often time people are allergic to henna and don't know it and dealing with a large scale allergic reaction is not fun!

But not a good permanent marker, like a Sharpie.  Hell no.  Get the generic brand from dollar store.

I love henna. I have had beautiful tatts from it. It's not very hard to do and like has been stated, dissapears in a few weeks and you can start over agian. I love the idea of the clothing painted on the body. I think I am going to look into doing this again!

Respectfully,
sultry

Oops, I fogot to say that henna is good for your hair. There are kits for hair also..

Sir and I bought some prepared Henna at the Asian store and then I started to read all these horror stories about "Black Henna" and how it can cause death so we never used it.

He would like to do something, but I don't think we know enough about it, nor have I come across any websites that were good enough that I feel confident about us doing it on our own.
