At the hotel where I work, I was pulling my normal night shift and some kids, probably eleven or thirteen years old or so, were in the lobby playing. This brown-haired boy was seen laying on his side like he'd been taken by the cops and was tired, waiting on the ground in cuffs. Even his hair was messed up. I walked over to see this motionless kid just lying there (it was 3 am, so there were no customers at the front desk). The kid's hands were tied with some mirror dice cord. These friends of his come up, three girls, and they said to the tied boy: "Come on, you. You're not going anywhere..." They saw me approach and ask what was going on as they were picking him up by the hair and arms to the tune of his groaning, "No, no, please!" "Oh, we're playing pirates. He's the captive," they said. "Is that right?" I said, with a huge smile. "Yeah," they said. "He's always tied up by us." He didn't say a word as they escorted him away. I wanted to say: "Can I play too?" Boy, that brought back memories! I didn't say anything to them except: "He'll come to understand those desires more in future years." One girl said, "I guess." Not a one of them had a clue as to what I was talking about. I walked away and just couldn't stop laughing. lol
