Don't try to copy anything from porn. They've got guys who hold the girl up until the photographer is ready to shoot, they let go of her for ten seconds and then they hold her up again while someone undoes her. That same pose could cause nerve damage if done for half an hour at home.
And get a copy of Jay Wiseman's Erotic Bondage, it's the safety bible. You don't want to injure your partner by not knowing that you're doing something which could cause nerve damage.
