Yep! Two of the kittens needed help getting the breathing process started (mama was exhausted at this point and a bit neglectful) and the very last one, the seventh one, passed away in my cupped hand after having breathing troubles for about ten minutes. Poor thing was severely underweight..... But the mama and the other six kittens are in fantastic shape.

Oh yes, I know alot of people will probably post that before the day is over. I feel so sad for our friend. I've done that a few times & it's never easy especially when it's an older pet you've had a long time. It's going to be a strange day when I'm asked to come to work at 9pm instead of 10pm. Won't know what to do w/the extra time at home afterward!! Oh yeah.......sleep [;)]
