No matter what you say about it from this point on it has no importance to me because you just beat it into the ground. It's just silly that a grown man will sit here with the delusions of grandeur that you have and also keep promoting this cartoon version of love. My God I'm in favor of love, I'm IN love with someone, I even like love but you are obsessed with it and it seems to control your life. You should have more than a one note song going on in your life. I can't imagine anyone ever signing up voluntarily to be with you. If you ever opened your mouth around me I'd run screaming in fear that you'd never shut it again.

Another thing...do you know someone named Arty by chance? He has a similar one note existance on a different subject and similar delusions of grandeur. He was also convinced that people were driven to see his profile because he was such a shining star here on CM not because he was a laughing stock....ahem, this would be your own hint.

I couldn't help myself. I even replied twice in the trainwreck Gor thread that the infamous duo ran into the ground because I have this misplaced feeling of wanting to extend a hand in impossible situations at times. I should just sit quietly and watch.

I've read the pages of this thread with interest. I'm going to make the--perhaps misguided--assumption that you fundamentally mean well, but are alienating others with your dogmatism. Herein then...some advice...

First....there is nothing wrong with believing in principles...but when you say that your principles are the ONLY and RIGHT way of having a healthy relationship, I would point out that people who cannot consider any other viewpoint besides their own are generally flirting with madness.

In reading your manifesto, you keep pointing out how to behave ethically (your way) whilst denying any validity to people who disagree with you. The fact that you seem unable to see that in this debate--as with many others--that other opinions are valid, or have some validity bears all the hallmarks of supreme egotism...and blindness.

You like to argue in absolutes, so let me use a math analogy. In math, there are absolute truths, like 2+2+4. If even one example of a exception exists, then it would no longer be considered an absolute truth. There are quite a few people on this site--some of whom I know, and others whom I only know by their posts--whom have had positive and healthy relationships while engaging in activities that you have labeled 'wrong.'

Unless you are going to label all of them as liars, you should concede--if you are intellectually honest--that there ARE more ways that yours to engage in healthy..and ethical sexual practices.

I myself--before I got married--had a healtly and diverse sex life. I also passed up going to bed with women when I thought it was a bad idea. This is not meant to make me out as a saint, but rather as someone who has certain standards and a certain level of maturity.

I believe that many in this community share those standards, and as a result, find your comments offensive. You seem to presume that only you have a sense of and valid code of ethics.

I've only been a member here since 2008, so I do not remember your previous incarnations on CM. Work and RL eat up most of my time, but I do try to visit CM every so often, and enjoy the discussions on the forums.

If you truly want to engage in discussions on this and other philosophical topics, then you will find many here who will engage you as thoughtful peers.

If you continue to presume to lecture people as the' font of wisdom' you will soon find that you are preaching to an empty room.

Think about it....

I am sure a reasonable, intelligent, mature reader can tell the difference.
