Robert.. You know I have read this thread through and through, and your profile, and no doubt there's far more of these words and theories and opinions and stuff, but you know, where is the substance? Where is the reality behind these words? Is there any? I just find it funny that you write so much about true love, but here you are, calling yourself a legend, counting views on your threads and profiles on an Internet site, and by your own words you're going to be 52 years old soon, in a week or so, right? I could pass judgment on you and your life - you're almost fifty two years old and railing about how immature everyone is, myopic to your own words, behaviour and what you project outwards - but I'm not going to. I'm not going to because I'm sure that there's been hard times in your life, times of hardship, times of grief, and times of loneliness. This is something that you share in common with a lot of other people here, myself included. But you know at the end of the day you have to make a choice, to face up to things as they are and to make a decision and to stick to it, and that decision is whether you are to be a victim or a survivor. The thing about love is, is that it doesn't cost anything. All it requires is a bit of effort. What you call real love, true love, to me is unconditional love - it's there, for free, no conditions, no expectations, something borne out of humanity, kindness, something simple. Okay, so you believe in true love, and you want everybody to accept that it's your creed, so why then are you looking to other people to make the first move? Why not go out there, out into the real world, and make true love your creed through your own actions, through what you do, and through what you project outwards towards other people? This is what a lot of people out there in the real world are doing. It doesn't have to be romantic love, of a partner or in a monogamous relationship, it could be someone in their family, it could be friends, it could be expressed through the work they do, through the interests and pursuits, but it is there, and it is expressed, it is part of someone's life and it is projected outwards through their actions, behaviour, attitudes and words. Many of those people are here, some have been contributing to this very thread. You can be one of them. It's just a matter of will. Your will. You have that ability deep within you. You were born with it. You're a human being. It doesn't depend on other people. It depends only on you. Take these words however which way you wish. But don't you think it's better to actually be a legend than to have to call yourself one?
