Taking my cue from Pagan Power who is VERY funny with EXCELLENT taste in food (at least from his intro) I had two waffles (Schwans) with blueberries and whipped cream. (so far...)

Well, darn...sorry about excluding any other religions that observe the day.  I was raised a catholic, but should stress I was raised years ago lol.  I just remember as a kid, wearing that little black smudge proudly [:)]

I come from Catholic roots but my pa was/is an atheist and my mom is simply cool so we drifted early on in life, although I went to Catholic school til grade five.

I hate religion for the most part, think it is entirely opposite of what would be real loving intent.

All this superstitious hanging onto to meaningless mumbo jumbo is so annoying in 2010.

I rarely eat meat because of the crap they do to it, it does not look like food to me but waayyyy over processed and fucked with scariness. On the other hand I eat it when it is there to eat.

Those marks on your head are nothing to me but if someone holds some meaning in their heart well, g'head mate.

It has been a long time since I took Catholicism seriously but I still give up things for Lent. The reason I do is because it helps change some habits. It takes just about that amount of time to change a bad habit, so it is a useful exercise for me. This year I am giving up diet soda. If this works, I will be rich LOL, unless I start drinking booze instead!

I went to service today at my Episcopal church. I didn't get ashes (yes, we do ashes too!) because I want to wait to be baptized before getting communion/ashes/etc. For lent I'm giving up both soda and ice cream. :)
