Is it like-inch thick rubber-with a waffle pattern and big holes drilled though it? You don't actually have to be scared of the bunny fur, if you cut it veeeeeerry carefully on the back side with a box cutter the mess can be avoided, for the most part ;) Also, if you go to home depot, they have little table legs that can be used for handles!
