"I dunno about that. I wouldn't want to be topped by somebody that stupid, and I certainly wouldn't want to pay somebody who'd go flouncing off in a sulk halfway through a session..."

Umm, are the only domme's you've met are the ones interested in your wallet? There are others. Some of them have similar personalities to Sarah Palin such as-

1) Lack of concern over others safety and health. Power trip for some individuals.
2) My way or the highway philosophy.
3) Predilection for go-go boots.

While I agree with you that I personally would not want to be topped by Sarah Palin for a host of reasons mostly due to her politics, racism, and entrenched ignorance- since there are other individuals on this board who share her political views, they may find her far more attractive than I.

Certainly the antithesis of Palin. Conservatives seem determined to become the movement of denial, though. It's a sad, bizarre parody of what conservatism once was, politically and intellectually.

I became a conservative in part by watching Wm F Buckley on Firing Line in the late 70's. Now, I imagine Palin going on that show, and have to burst out laughing. And weeping.

Well, she's clearly not qualified for public office

Care to compare her record when it comes to corruption to President Obama's?

Yes.

Show us Obama's corruption, in detail.

Not some vague allegations you saw on a right wing blog.

Give us  facts, details, dates, and whatever other information you think is pertinent.

So nice of you to ask, RML.  Please note that I spoke of the record when it "comes to" corruption.  What happened when they came face to face with the corruption that transcends all politics in our government?

Can you read the links for yourself, of are you going to play that silly little game where you seem to think I'm a writer for Jeff Foxworthy's game show?

Here we have a nice little article, telling the story of President Obama's encounter that got him a nice big yard for the house.

Then there was Sarah Palin, and what happened when she met the encountered the crooks

The President has called his choice "boneheaded," so denial won't get you far.  But please, by all means, go ahead with the litany of travel violations you think are much, much, more serious.  Do everything you can to make this all about which is worse, because the last thing you want to do is even acknowledge that President Obama has nothing to compare with, when we talk about a record of fighting corruption.

Brain -> RE: Geo. F. Will - Sarah Palin and the mutual loathing society (2/19/2010 8:10:01 PM)

I don't like the man. I think he is evil and a war criminal. I was pleased to discover that he flunked out of Yale twice. Additionally, I feel better if I call him names because I don't think his behavior deserves my respect. I can't believe those losers at the CPAC urging him to run. I don't like him because of ALL THE REASONS not just because he flunked out.

I'm absolutely lost, Brain.  The man was VP for eight years under Bush, and the reason you don't like him is that he flunked out of college?

I don't care if he flunked out.
I don't care if you think he's a dumbass.
I DO care that he helped push us into unneeded wars, may have benefited from Halliburton getting sweetheart deals, and tried to weaken individual freedoms while in office.

Focus on the larger things, not on personal prejudices.

Brain -> RE: Geo. F. Will - Sarah Palin and the mutual loathing society (2/19/2010 8:13:44 PM)

I am neither worried or obsessed with that woman. The correct word for me is that I am entertained.

I see more worry about Sarah. You guys are obsessed..or worried..

Brain -> RE: Geo. F. Will - Sarah Palin and the mutual loathing society (2/19/2010 8:16:46 PM)

When she is no longer on Fox news or on television saying stupid things and when she shuts up that is when people will stop talking about her. I can't believe all the money she's being paid to be an idiot.

quote:

ORIGINAL: servantforuse

I also don't expect her to run. I do have to wonder about the unending threads about her. Personally I hope she does run, but I don't see it..

Brain -> RE: Geo. F. Will - Sarah Palin and the mutual loathing society (2/19/2010 8:19:03 PM)

That wouldn't work for me either because she doesn't have the intellectual capacity. I would have to respect the woman's intelligence and it just doesn't happen with her for me.

Well, she's clearly not qualified for public office, but she'd make a hell of a dominatrix....

Brain -> RE: Geo. F. Will - Sarah Palin and the mutual loathing society (2/19/2010 8:22:38 PM)

Please don't say stupid things and lower your self to her level. To say a professor of constitutional law from Harvard University if not qualified to be president and after the way he handled questions so well from over 100 senators and congressmen at that GOP retreat what you just said is absurd.

quote:

ORIGINAL: servantforuse

Obama isn't qualified either, but he's in there.

I actually like George Will. At times he's silly, but lots of times he lays out reasonable arguments, and I like to see the reasonable case for positions I may not hold.

Certainly the antithesis of Palin. Conservatives seem determined to become the movement of denial, though. It's a sad, bizarre parody of what conservatism once was, politically and intellectually.

Brain -> RE: Geo. F. Will - Sarah Palin and the mutual loathing society (2/19/2010 8:35:10 PM)

I used to like him but I don't anymore. I remember buying one of his books when I was younger. But now I think he is a hypocrite like the rest of them. Recently George reversed his position on Afghanistan just to disagree with Obama and I have to say because he is engaging in these immature strategies for political reasons I've lost a lot of respect for him.

If Sarah actually did get elected president in 2012, I think that Brain would actually throw in the towel.

Why do you wonder?

She constantly keeps herself in the news with contrived controversies.

`Family Guy' actress has Down syndrome

An update to that....

Andrea Fay Friedman, the voice actress who played the role of "Ellen" --the character depicted as having Down syndrome on the Valentine's Day episode of Family Guy, has responded to the criticism of sometime-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Of special significance, Friedman herself has Down syndrome. Palingates has Friedman's complete response:

quote:

My name is Andrea Fay Friedman. I was born with Down syndrome. I played the role of Ellen on the "Extra Large Medium" episode of Family Guy that was broadcast on Valentine's day. Although they gave me red hair on the show, I am really a blonde. I also wore a red wig for my role in " Smudge" but I was a blonde in "Life Goes On". I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".

In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.

There's plenty of dommes who aren't scamsters, you're right. That was a joke.
