Hey all,

I notice most of the posters here are from the U.S or U.K, so thought this may get the attention of those locally. I know there are couple of people active on the boards from down here.

I've been on CM and fetlife, on and off since about 2007. I really only started my D/s and BDSM experiences in 2009, and have come back to CM in search for something more.

I use the message boards, sometimes for nothing more than entertaining reading, other times as a D/s resource, and other times just to observe human behaviour and social politics.

Have you been to any of the events here in Melbourne? We have a thriving bdsm scene with clubs and parties help pretty much every weekend. Talk about spoilt for choice. It is the best way to make yourself known to the Domme's here and to make friends.

Hi wandersalone,

I've met a few people who are involved in the 'scene' through other avenues without ever going to a public event. I have a friend who goes to a few munches and could tag along one day, if only I felt more social!

bbq, yes. unless we want to pretend we're in the north and do a full on roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings.

nude. never seen one of those. imagine the burns if the meat/vegies/garlic mushrooms splatted fat!!
