Bacon ??? (Full Version)

There was bacon in the fridge that needed cooked. So i took the six rashers and chopped them. Now in the iron skillet they sizzle. 'With a spoonful of apple butter for sweetness and a spoon of minced garlic to appease the arteries.

Now what should i do with them for dinner in about six hours ? i'm thinking something ' not breakfasty ' but i'm not coming up with much...

Spaghetti Carbonara,
mashed potatoes with bacon, caramelized onions, and cheese,
creamy potato and celeriac soup with sour cream and bacon,
penne with sauce matricana,
twice baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, chives, bacon, and cheese,
mushroom ragout

Or bacon with bacon and bacon on top. Yumm bacon! [:D]

YOu could always mix up bacon bits and parm/romano cheese shredded or gratted and use it as a coating on the chicken and bake it. Then you can make a salad and add the hot chicken to it. Or just make some green beans and add some of the bacon to them. You could make grill cheese and bacon tomato sandwhiches and tomato soup add sourcream a little cheese and bacon to it. Or you can just store the bacon and use it, cooked bacon stores forever i believe in the fridge.

We made these for our Superbowl party.

Take a hot dog, make a cut lengthwise, but not all the way to the end. Fill the cut with a little sweet relish, chopped onion, and cheddar cheese. Wrap it in a bacon strip, keeping it together with toothpicks.

We cooked ours in a smoker, but I think you could get the same result in an oven.

Very low in calorie and fat content. [sm=liar.gif]

Edited to add: Whoops see you already chopped up the bacon! Nevermind...
