Obviously it depends on the schtuff you're talking about. I mean hell, if she got preggers from black licorice vodka, well I'd be pretty impressed. Maybe a little worried, but probably not so much.

If I remember the sonogram reading right, 2 lines means a girl, 2 dots a boy. It might still be too early to tell the gender. If it looks like it is holding a meatloaf, we know that it is Holly's minion...

waaaaaay to early to tell. Actually it is too early to even visualize the baby on the ultrasound. The only thing we saw was the embryonic sac.. funny how something so microscopic can rock your world [image]http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/loveshower.gif[/image]

I remember when I was 6 weeks along, I thought I had a bad case of stomach flu. I had a miscarriage in March of '94 and was told that I could not carry to full term. The ER did its blood test for virii and that HCG(?) levels were high. I denied that I was pregnant until they showed me the sonogram of a thriving fetus. The next day, I told my boss that I will no longer lift anything over 10 pounds. he was okay with that. A couple of months later, he quit working and I was off duty when one of the associates called me up, in a panic. I took over the store and for 2 weeks I was pulling double duty until a manager was found to take over. I told the district manager that I was pregnant by that time and I went to another store that was on campus for UT. Closer to a BK so I got my hamburger cravings taken care of. Sorry..just having flashbacks...

i finally pulled my head out of the clouds enough to understand this... the test to determine pregnancy in the first place is called a Beta HCG-Q. Anything over 100 means pregnancy. Between 100-300 is indicative of a single baby. 400-500 means you are carrying more than one. My level was 398. [image]http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/crysmiley1.gif[/image] According to the doctor it may or may not mean anything ("gee thanks, how very helpful of you!!") The ultrasound showed one sac, but at this early stage (2-3 weeks) it is impossible to know. Sometimes the ultrasounds do not even show the sacs...they are THAT microscopic. i am not the octagon mom, not Whassweface and BillyBob Dugger with 19 and counting, or Kate Whatshername (even though we both have stooopid hair.)
