Can we get back on topic now? I think what I get tired of is subs being So overwhelming in their askance of a Domme, nit taking anything into consideration before messaging such as distance, what can I do for some one in the middle east? I dont  cyber Dom.It does get irritating, and then please what about those who talk about all of their "experience" but has never held a broom? I dont hate them I just dont like their actions, and speaking of actions there are some here that truly need to grow up!The race card in a sure sign of insecurity and nothing else, and your comments could have been worded so as not to offend, unless thats what you were trying to do,Show your Domiliness? Weak thats what it was and Ive read your comments for awhile and have enjoyed most but this? Way out in left field,am I offended, hell yeah!Whats your per capita?????

Certainly we can. :-)

What might help is that you make a post on topic where you write about what you actually like about male subs rather than what you dislike about them.

I dated a domme in 2007.  I flew into town, and we met the next day for breakfast.  We ordered at a cafe, and I was reaching for my wallet to pay, when she whipped out a twenty, gave it to the cashier, then looked at me with a "gotcha" twinkle in her eye.  Sexy as hell.

About fifteen minutes into our conversation over breakfast, she said to me, "I really appreciate the fact that you're relaxed.  I've met some other men from online, and it seems as though they haven't even been in a room with a domme for a long time, so they have all kinds of desire bottled up, and then when they first meet me it's as though everything gets poured out onto me.  It's overwhelming.  You're just talking as though we are people."

Well Red, your experience might be different in that you are a Dominant yourself, right?

Anyhow, people's mileage vary. I haven't had nearly half the bad experiences most seem to relate for a few reasons:
  • I treat emails from individuals who don't read my profile as spam
  • I don't feel obligated to meet men who don't match my criteria
  • I would rather be single than with the wrong man for me
The submissive men I have met, on average, have been awesome.

Sorry but what does this have to do with the topic? All I see here is whining about how aweful male subs are. Did you misunderstand the topic?

I guess you didn't realise that the purpose of the thread was to get away from negativity then, even if it is the very first thing the OP wrote...

I'm afraid I disagree with this.

One apple which is bad taints all the other apples.

One sub who is a bad fit is just that-a bad fit. The others still remain just as good as they ever were...

Given the circumstances, what do you think?

It's not quite as cut and dried as it looks.  If you missed it, I shared some of my writing that I jovially refer to as my own kinky/geeky version of mental masturbation.  It's all intellectual and literary and shit, and probably boring as hell to anyone who isn't wired the same way.   That's why I started the post with explicit disclaimers and warnings of same.  There was a metaphor comparing the Aztec sacrifice of willing victims, sacred and highly respected, with the male submissive who is honored and appreciated by his dominant.

Domiguy decided to play in my sandbox and kick that idea around a little.  He wasn't being particularly funny this time, so he got called on it.  I really wouldn't bother reading anything more complex than that into it.

Maybe.  I was brand new to internet dating in 2007, and I enjoy caring for others in a relationship.  She and I had IMed and phoned about exploring the possibility of me being the sub in the relationship, defined in a particular way.  This took place on Alt.  Part of the reason I made my CM profile a dominant one was because I learned something out of it not working out between her and me, even though we spent a few days together.  I won't go into what I realized just here though.

The sub men I have met in real life have all been intelligent and cool.  Almost no sub men I have interacted with online have shared those characteristics, though.  I really think this complaints-about-sub-males issue is a result of the online/real divide.  I was at a ClubFEM playparty once, for example, and the men outnumbered the women 2 to 1, yet all the guys were respectful to the women, to one another, and to me, the newcomer for that matter.

I don't share this experience with you. The submissive men that I choose to interact with here are very intelligent and very cool. I guess you don't see them the way I do. Then again, you don't relate to them the way I do.

I was thinking along those lines-I would provide examples, but then cloudboy might get cross [8|]

RedMagic1 -> RE: The Awesomeness of Male Subs (2/20/2010 2:07:01 PM)

Neither of you -- LA or VC -- is quick to assume that a sub man who posts here is being a wanker.  Perhaps you have fewer wankers in your inbox, or perhaps your assumption that the man is "better than that" leads to the man doing his best to act better than that.

I certainly get the impression here sometimes -- including on this very thread -- that some femdoms would prefer to fight with men, or, ah, complain about them, instead of talking about how cool the opposite sex can really be.

I can't speak for LA but I don't think that's right with regards to me-it's more that I can't be arsed to deal with a wanker unless something particularly snarky runs into my head-laziness rather than tolerance.

I block mercilessly on CMail-I just don't allow the idiots to influence how I deal with the awesome subs-of which there ARE many on these forums.

No. I get my share of wankers, believe me. But as I wrote here, I haven't had nearly half the bad experiences most seem to relate for a few reasons:
  • I treat emails from individuals who don't read my profile as spam
  • I don't feel obligated to meet men who don't match my criteria

The only thing I have control over is my attitude and my approach. The rest is out of my control.

Just like I'm not going to get up in arms if someone spams me with Viagra in my regular email, I don't get up in arms when someone from a land far far away writes to me wanting to serve. In fact, most spam I get are from Americans to be honest.

Bottom line, I just refuse to give them the power of getting me even remotely annoyed. It works wonderfully! Believe me.

I'm a lover, not a fighter. I have had way too many positive experiences with submissive men to complain about them.

When I first came back to CM a few months ago, it did strike me how many insincere requests I was getting and I started a thread about it. That said, I developed a strategy, adapted my mind set and now all is good.

My journal entries are also all about how much I appreciate good submissive men. I feel that this positive approach attracts very positive responses.

Massages are fun to give.

:D

Hours and hours of rubbing and touching. Hiding spots of tension wibbled (an honest massage technique i swear [8|]) out with firm hands. Salads prepared, chicken noodle soup from scratch, fixing things, mulework (heyaw mule, lift!).

Devotion Devotion Devotion,

hours of doting upon.

Yes, apply the lotion....

*squirt*

Rubbie Rrub rub!

:P

*laughs*  and those who provide noodle soup and laughs when I am sick ... extra points to Pyro today ...

and like LA .... I to prefer to  share what I like and give attention  to what pleases me

I will at times 'feed' those who perhaps are mislead and  not what I consider enjoyable ... to see if they do not understand  and can maybe learn from a pointer or two.... but in general I much prefer being surounded by delight

so compliments to all the charming men .... and that includes slavekal and sea
