ORIGINAL: LadyAngelika Well Red, your experience might be different in that you are a Dominant yourself, right? Maybe. I was brand new to internet dating in 2007, and I enjoy caring for others in a relationship. She and I had IMed and phoned about exploring the possibility of me being the sub in the relationship, defined in a particular way. This took place on Alt. Part of the reason I made my CM profile a dominant one was because I learned something out of it not working out between her and me, even though we spent a few days together. I won't go into what I realized just here though. The sub men I have met in real life have all been intelligent and cool. Almost no sub men I have interacted with online have shared those characteristics, though. I really think this complaints-about-sub-males issue is a result of the online/real divide. I was at a ClubFEM playparty once, for example, and the men outnumbered the women 2 to 1, yet all the guys were respectful to the women, to one another, and to me, the newcomer for that matter.
