Status: offline 		Structure.  i know in alot of M/s or Gorean or prolly even D/s relations there is sort of a "structure" set out for the bottom.   Like a Daily Routine.  If it varies, when it varies, right down to the last detail.  i was wondering if everyone could share theirs?

Status: offline 		We have things she needs to do during the day, but I don't thnk either of us could function with that type of down to the last detail structure.  I don't have the time or inclination to map out every detail of her day.  I am also to prone to sudden direction changes to make that work anyway.  So for many things she has a plan for what must get done and a time for whejn it has to be done by.

Status: offline 		structure in my hell ..... i know what needs to be done daily... does it get done... nope. I will put off for as long as possible... as long as it's something I can get by with. I'm a perfectionist... if I can't do it right.. I don't want to do it right now then. As sick as I've been over past 2 weeks... LOL.. I now have more to do than I want.. and it makes me feel worse knowing I can't get to it right now either. But once i'm back up and running.. it will get done.. (it's spring cleaning). But Having a "Honey Do List"... even for myself.. or anyone else.. nope... no can do... things happen to sudden around here.. from.. Hey lets go shopping.. to hey lets go fishing. Specially during summer vacation in effect.

Status: offline 		I don't think I could function with a detailed daily structure, although one of my closest friends runs his household that way. For me, I'd be stiffled. That being said, I do have things that I need to do every day. Like cook, clean, some days laundry, other days, garbage...I get my list. It's up to me to get it done within the alotted time. Sometimes I procrastinate, other times, I get it done first thing in the morning so I can enjoy whatever else comes up. That part of it is up to me...so long as it gets done by the dead line :)

Status: offline 		working out when i wake up in the morning. i rather love to hate it. Master has me do it to keep me healthy....i am grateful and appreciative and when ii am sore i remember i did it to keep His property well....right now i am finally getting back into that routine after getting out of it for a while an gaining weight but i have realized wow i really like devoting this time to Him each morning.

Status: offline 		I need structure for myself.  Not only does it keep migraines at bay, but it also helps lower my general anxiety.  Also, my partners need a sense of stability and an idea of what's going on in my life and keeping to a general structure helps with that.

Most weekdays are standard, get up, drive to work, usually I talk on the phone with my local partner.  Work a normal workday, drive home, grab food for dinner, talk to my Boston partner.  Hang out, do chores, regular stuff, then talk to my Austin partner.  Shower, get to bed.  On random days I might also talk with family, do emails stuff, go out on a date, go to a munch, normal social stuff.

Weekends are usually frantic and change constantly, but I keep my partners and friends updated on my calendar through Yahoo and regular schedule postings on my blog so they know what to expect.

Any more specific structure than that would be fairly stifling and cause more anxiety than it creates.  I run in a lot of social circles and tend to have a few pots on the fire at once- rigid structuring doesn't work well for that.  But I do try and make time to relax and get to bed with a smile every night.

Status: offline 		I don't micromanage my slaves. I don't have time, nor do I have the energy. I know some that do, however. For me, the things I like in the day (or think I will when I finally have my slaves with me) are like mini-routines.
I want to be greeted at the door by a formal present when I come home, have my stuff taken and be able to either start dinner or sit and relax.

If I'm the first home, I want the first thing that my slaves do after setting their stuff down is to come kneel at my feet. Although, it might be more beneficial to allow them to go change, shower or whatever to get rid of the day and settle into evening service.

I want a family dinner several times a week where we do the whole "what's going on in your life" kind of thing. It doesn't matter who cooks...I like to cook on occassion.

I want a morning ritual that helps me get ready for work.

Whenever possible, I want the morning ritual to contain a joint shower. I find it to be a spiritual thing to be bathed and to bath.

All these things are routines/rituals/protocols that I want on a regular basis...but I'm flexible about them if the day's routine doesn't have room for them.

Status: offline 		I have tried to develop good routines for myself, only to have them fall apart. Every once and a while I will look at the submissive who has a structure and think that similar would benefit me, until I realize again that the things a submissive does are for the service of their Dominant, something I can not do, because I focus on myself and what might benefit me directly. I would rather be the one at the helm in a D/s relationship, not the other way around, however it is my lack of control of my life that has held me at bay from pursuing D/s further. I can not control someone else in any real way until I can control myself. As it is, my life is in shambles. Until I can look at my academic, financial and personal image problems with courage, sure that I can overcome them, I will not even dream of being a Master. After all, how can I provide structure, if I can't even keep structure for myself?

Status: offline 		To the OP..structure or routine?..Means about the same to me.everybody has a routine that works for them.My biggest problem is especially during the week,I hate to have my routine disrupted for then it seems to create a domino effect for the rest of the day.But,on the weekends I tend to be more relaxed and off the cuff.As long as everything is accomplished that "needs" to be accomplished,then all is well.Now I am trying to decide if this makes me a wee bit anal or not?....be well...tempting

Tuesday - Bathrooms
Wednesday - Bedrooms & Grocery shopping
Thursday - Dusting, sweeping, mopping
Friday - Kitchen, vacuum
Saturday - baking

Everyday - Make meals,  dishes, check cigar humidor, personal stuff, make coffee before bed, mail, errands as needed

Monthly - oven/stove, flip mattresses, clean coffee maker, take care of toys, change all filters, fridge/freezer, laundry room, baseboards/windows, pick up all meds
