If you're a fan of the show, you know Daddy, his beloved "ambassador" pit bull, who passed away yesterday at the age of 16.

If you're a Dog Whisperer hater and have snarky comments....please keep them to yourself this time. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that, I really am but at the same time I'm breathing a sigh of relief. For a second there I thought you wer saying that he himself had died.

Nonono it's all good, it was just the title that threw me.....and I'm very tired. He must be heartbroken, he loved that dog soooo much [&o]

16 is a hell of a good run for a pit, though.

I know he loved him. I also know that he prepared himself (as best we can) for this time.
Daddy was a GREAT dog!
He'll live on, in the show, in the books and in our hearts.
(Oh yeah, I thought you were gonna say Caesar was dead too!!)

What a shame for him...but have to agree with TheHeretic....16 years is a damn good age he achieved...

I figured that would be coming when he retired Daddy from the show. 16 is a long life for a dog. Obviously excellent care from Ceaser. Im sure Daddy will be missed. My Shepard died at age ten. Way too soon for me. Sadly, my dog will be missed as well.

I thought Daddy was Redman's dog that stayed with Ceasar a lot. No? In any event, Daddy was my FAVORITE, I'm sad to see him go, but he had a happy doggie life...
