boi is right. Corner time is reflective time. It can be done before or after a physical punishment (or both). It could also be given as the entire punishment, with no physical aspect, but I haven't heard of that. Generally, I administer it with the disciplinee either in the corner, nose to the wall, or against a wall, with nose holding a coin in place. Hands down at the sides. If I will be using an implement after the corner time, then the disciplinee holds it. Assuming that there will be a spanking to follow, then he/she is bare bottom. He/she is not to speak, and I do not speak either. The entire idea is to force focus on his/her act, and on the subsequent punishment. I'm not sure why you posted this in Ask a Mistress. The roles of discipliner and disciplinee are not gender specific.
