These questions are kinda’ screwy bro. If Archie can “date them both” then why would he have to only date the one that “wishes to date”? I don’t get Archie’s paradigm? If I had doubts, and I was monogamous, I would dump them both. I would only spend my monogamy on someone special that impressed me enough to be my partner. That someone wouldn’t need a forum post to help choose. Come to think of it, that is what I would do whether I was mono or poly.

Also, if Archie is capable of dating more than one person, is he monogamous? I am not mono, never have been. I very well may not understand the rules.

Not all of us follow that so keenly insightful list of "rules" lol.

Most of my life it's been more like this:
1. Look for potential mate
2. Get to know one at a time
3. Realize she's not the one for me and move on in hopes of finding the "right" one.
Repeat and Rinse..Not hard to figure out.

I am quite sincere. Mono sex mystifies me. I just don’t think it exists and it is all a matter of people’s perception of time. Maybe it was the physics I studied college and time is more “relative” to me. When I get to know someone and they see time the from my perspective, their paradigm usually shifts. Mono love is equally mystifying . . . but that is more typing than I am willing spend this morning.
