EW is right. And I think some guys look for the skinny girls, not because that's what floats their boat, but they think there is less chance they'll get obese.

Luckily for me I am not trying to impress every man but one special one who I hope will care for me for me not because I am less likely to get fat. Whoa. Pretending he likes me more than he actually does, is not really a real man anyway, and also to get out of a big meal ticket at the end of the meal.

Tell myself what? That there would be less babies if men and women didn't want to fuck? Love, intamacy, just plain fun, I'm all for that - but as far as nature is concerned, it's all about making babies. Difficult to pull of if the male and female of a species are repulsed by each other.

hc, your perspective is a right one to have, my friend. There is a special one (more than one, I do imagine), that will open their heart to you, and embrace you as you are, that's is the ulitmate, IMO.

No, that article simply explains some of the behavior you might see amongst the menfolk when a Marilyn Monroe type walks by. Its all perfectly natural behavior, to a point.

That article just gives men an excuse to act like an ass around other women. "But hon, I couldn't help but drool at that other woman. She was like a drug"

Just as it's natural for most "womenfolk" to get a bad case of rubberneck syndrome when a gorgeous specimen of the male variety walks by - nature's great for explaining lascivious behaviour ;-).

It is true, and what is enjoyable about this lifestyle is finding women who enjoy men being true to their natures. Nothing is more phony than the sly seduction of pretending to not be interested in sex.

The natural sex drive is so universal and primal, it is one of the few areas upon which Sanity and I share common ground.

In my opinion, the Victorians were in some ways more correct about things than the 1960's sexual revolutionaries. One of the worst aspects of the Sexual Revolution was its trivialization of sexuality, where the awesome power of sexuality was seen as something easily controllable, played with and dispensed with at a whim.
I think it is a bit more correct to understand it as the primary driver of most of our behavior, and the more we accept and embrace that, the more true to our natures we will be. Not that we need to be enslaved to it, just cognizant of its power.

Interesting though how many men seem to prefer the emaciated boy body model type.

HSE, I think women have an impression that more men like the skinny model look than actually do.

Some do, but real men don't.

Wow slugger thread. Seriously a real man wouldnt like me?

Maybe my smiley included showed that I was being tongue in cheek with my comment. I'd look for a DUH smiley now, but you'd misinterpret it.

Ohhhh --No, I apologize I didnt get that as a joke. I missed the emoticom entirely. I have been mildly joke challenged sometimes. Slow but not altogether lost.
There is one for future use. I will hone in to notice and take in the language of the emoticom more...

Likewise I apologize heartscream, I made my comment as a joke as well, mostly to poke fun at men and stereotypes and apparently it was not at all funny. As a photographer I actually much prefer to photograph thin women with delicate builds. I did not use the smiley at all, so my snarky comment came out all wrong. I truly meant no offense.

Nothing can compare with the natural curves I love.
Even when I’m sleeping it’s curvy girls I dream of
Curvy girls are lovely curvy girls are great
Curvy girls make me want to master…my own fate

Hourglass figures have a pretty powerful affect on some of us womens too

Somehow I think the article was referring to a few less curves than some of us actually have...

Aileen, I will be glad to donate a few.
