You're forgetting about the threads that get started from the "It's all about me" perspective. The ones that don't present any questions, provoke any thought, nor are asking for any input by other users. Why? Because it's all about them.

I have noticed something in this world, that those who scream the loudest that it isn't all about them are the most guilty of it being so... They are the ones that get the most offended by what other people write, even creating entire threads devoted to how they believe other people should be, because THEY don't like the way the world exists, and therefore need to change it to suit THEM..

Quite amusing really.

people are people, not small databases of absolute information, they will express in the manner in which they can relate.
If you want exact advice, always on target and never changing, get a set of encyclopedia's. Sure the information will become dated over time, but I don't think that matters in this case.

I can't see it from another person's viewpoint especially when I know nothing about the other person. I can share my feelings in the hopes that they will garner something helpful from it, that it will resonate with them. That's all any of us can do when presented for a request for advice with very limited information available.

And yeah, it's not a community any more than the group of other people shopping in the grocery store at the same time I am is a community. We have very limited in common except that we're here.
