ORIGINAL: domiguy you are a politically moderate Oh no you don't, DG. There will be none of that. No shifting me out of the group because I don't fit your template. I'm a limited government demanding, strong national defense and negotiating from a position of strength advocating, deregulating, death penalty promoting, gun owning, tax cutting, conservative, son of a bitch. We tried throwing out anything that didn't fit with the global warming bullshit. You're just going to have to adjust your model to accomodate me. I have a theory about your premise for the thread, too. Conservatives tend to be happier, more contented people. Maybe we aren't all on the desperate search for gash because we have have already found good ones to settle down with. And see, I do not believe in capital punishment, I support birth control including the morning after pill w/out a Rx, I think there is place for both government regulation and reasonable gun control. I do not believe mandatory minimums serve the criminal jutice system at all, I believe in de-criminalizing drug use, I believe one should have freedom of religion and freedom FROM religion, I distrust fundies, Christian, Jews, Islamic and I think the importation of Killer Whales for human entertainment and theme park attractions needs to end at midnight...tonight. Oh I am also a Union Member and think Unions have thier place in the United States too. But for some reason I can never get tagged as a moderate... Lucky Me!!! [:D] I know what I am not though... and that a Modern Liberal (Classical I will take) FDD and TheHeretic, I think the majority of us "conservatives" on this forum are actually moderates. It's just in comparison to many of the more voracious "liberal" posters, they think we are some sort of goose-stepping crowd. Which, in my mind, says more about them, then it does us. Many of them are actually the outliers in the political spectrum. Firm
