Which photo editing software are you using? With Photoshop, select -> Image -> Size. From there a box will pop up giving you image dimensions. You can choose either pixels. percentage, or inches (it will also show the resolution of the image in dpi). Find out what pixel size is the maximum for your photo, then reduce the image to that pixel size. Be sure the check box at the bottom (the one that says constrain proportions) is selected. This way when you reduce the height, the width will automatically reduce proportionally so you do not stretch the photo to an odd appearance. If you are using another program to edit your photos, I may be able to help, if I'm familiar with the program.
